The month of March is dedicated to Youth Art Month across the state, and two Benjamin Logan Middle School students are being honored on the state level for their artistic talents.
Eighth-grader Kylie Breneman was chosen as an honored artist for the 41st Annual Youth Art Month Exhibition.
Seventh-grader Landon Braddock was selected as an honored artist for the 41st Annual Young People’s Art Exhibition.
Both events are sponsored by the Ohio Art Education Association.
There are eight regions in Ohio representing the OAEA. This year’s show includes 81 student artworks from all over the state.
BLMS art teacher Jennifer Davis, along with Kylie and Landon, will be honored during the first ever Virtual Young People’s Art Exhibition Reception. Students will receive their Artist Prize Packet in the mail around Saturday, March 6, in time for the virtual reception.
