Benjamin Logan High School senior Averi Lane has been selected for the College Board National Rural and Small Town Recognition Program, school officials announced this week.
A daughter of Ryan and Shelly Lane, Averi has earned this recognition because of her remarkable academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or AP Exams.
She has accomplished these milestones during a demanding period of her high school career – one of disruption and challenge during the pandemic times.
“In a time of hardship, Averi demonstrated resilience and an unwavering commitment to owning her future,” school officials said.
“She has put in the effort and her future is bright. The Benjamin Logan Local School District couldn’t be more delighted to share this great news. Colleges across the country know that students who have been selected for the College Board National Rural and Small Town Recognition Program are some of the most talented across the country.”
