Benjamin Logan High School hosted its Annual Science Day Tuesday, Feb. 15, and a number of local students received award recognition.
Benjamin Logan pupils Charlotte Graham, Lottie Bodin, Averi Lane, and Winnie Bodin, as well as Elliott Hager of West Liberty-Salem received “Superior” ratings, and will be participating in the Virtual District Science Day at Ohio Northern University later in March.
Eighth-grader Winnie Bodin earned a perfect score on her project “Biological and Chemical Assessment of Various Locations on the Mad River over Four Years”.
BLHS students receiving “Excellent” ratings included: Megan Hume, Kylie Stanley, Mylee Boysel, Joslin Wilber, Libby Siefring, Lauren Hemmelgarn, Alex Algire and Taihler Crawford.
Averi Lane and Addy Hayter each received recognition from the Mary Rutan Foundation for exemplary health care-related projects.
In addition, more than 30 Benjamin Logan Elementary students with superb projects were encouraged to display their projects at the BLHS Science Day.
