Thursday morning was a exciting time in the show arena for upcoming Bellefontaine High School freshman Cooper Hunt.

He started the morning off with a win in the junior showmanship category at the Junior Fair Goat Show, and then he moved on to show his two goats in the market goat show.
He won his class with one of his goats and placed second with the other, which meant both goats qualified for the finals.
Cooper patiently waited as the judge chose the winners, and one of his entries was named Grand Champion Market Goat.
He related that his grandparents assisted him with preparing his goats for the fair.
“I’m really thankful for my grandma and grandpa. They really helped me a lot.”
He also said that his favorite thing about his goats are “their personalities.”
Fellow participant Lane Reynolds won Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat.

“I would like to thank my family for all of their help,” he said.
Other winners for the Junior Fair Goat Show include: Kaylynn Crum, Junior Champion Dairy Goat; Isabel Henderson, Reserve Junior Champion Dairy Goat; Maria Henderson, Senior Champion; Isabel Henderson, Reserve Senior Champion; Savannah McClintick, Champion Pygmy; and Elizabeth Miller, Reserve Champion Pygmy.
