Bellefontaine and Benjamin Logan’s boys and girls track and field teams battled against a talented field inside AcuSport Stadium Friday at the Chieftain Relays.
The Chieftain boys and Raider boys finished in a tie for third place in the eight-team field.
Marysville won the boys meet with 109 points, Wapakoneta took second with 84 points, BHS and Ben Logan had 63 points each and River Valley was one point back in fifth with 62.
The Redskins came away with the top spot in the girls meet after scoring 91 points. Delaware Hayes earned the runner-up spot with 85 points, Marysville was third with 79 points and Lima Shawnee took fourth with 60 points. The Chieftain girls were fifth with 59 points and the Raider girls were sixth with 48 points.
The Bellefontaine boys won one event Friday with the discus relay of Ramon Garcia, D.J. McDonald and Alex Miller (354-1).
