Benjamin Logan’s baseball team earned another big non-league win Tuesday by outlasting visiting Wapakoneta 2-1.
The Raiders, who beat defending Division III state champion Coldwater in their opener Saturday, improve to 3-0 on the season.
Wapakoneta scored a run in the second inning for a 1-0 lead.
Ben Logan matched that with a run in the third inning for a 1-1 tie.
The Raiders were able to squeeze out a run in the sixth inning to take a 2-1 advantage and the Redskins were unable to answer in their final at bat.
Kade Arn picked up the win on the mound. He pitched a complete game while recording nine strikeouts and scattering six hits.
Arn also sparked the Ben Logan offense by going 2-3 with a double.
Also for the Raiders at the plate, Brady Burrey and Kainan Stoner each went 2-3 and Austin McGowan had an RBI.
Ben Logan plays again Friday at Bellefontaine for a local Central Buckeye Conference crossover game at Blue Jacket Park.
