Benjamin Logan’s volleyball team dominated host Indian Lake for a convincing three-set win on Tuesday 25-18, 25-17, 25-13 to start Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division play.
The Raiders improve to 4-2 overall and are 1-0 in the CBC Mad River division. The Lakers fall to 1-6, 0-1.
Ryelle Gibson led Ben Logan at the net with 12 kills and two blocks, Kylie Frazier tallied 12 kills, 16 assists and five digs, Lily Makin had 11 points, four kills, seven digs and was 16-17 serving, Molly Vance recorded six kills, 10 points, eight digs and was 16-16 serving and Lynzee Cronkleton had 16 assists, four kills and three aces.
For the Lakers, Gracie Taylor was 10-10 hitting with six kills, Allexxie West was 13-15 hitting with four kills, Allix Cotterman had 18 digs and Kayli Tussing notched 13 digs.
Ben Logan’s junior varsity Black team beat Indian Lake Red 25-11, 25-18.
Lauren Dixon sparked the Raiders with 20 points, two kills, seven aces, nine assists and was 22-22 serving, Macy Matthews tallied seven kills, Kyndal Cronkleton had four kills and two digs, Lily Blackburn had three kills, six digs, one block and one ace, Haleigh Brentlinger had four kills, Brielle Moorhouse had eight assists and two aces and Georgia Bates added eight digs, seven aces and was 20-22 serving.
Allison Culp was 7-8 serving with two aces and Lexi Lones had seven digs for the Lakers.

Madelyn Harmon led the Raiders with seven assists and five digs, Alex Algire recorded four kills, three aces and two blocks, Lexi Sutherly had five kills and five assists, Madison Buettner had three aces and was 8-8 serving and Junette Ly chipped in with two aces.
For IL, Porscha Davis was 6-6 serving and 21-23 setting, Ava Huffman was 6-6 serving, Geona Spires was 9-10 on serves received and had eight digs and Kaleigh Zedlitz was 6-8 hitting with two kills.
Ben Logan hosts North Union in a key CBC Mad River match, while Indian Lake travels to Northwestern on Friday for a CBC Mad River contest.
