Benjamin Logan’s Coreen Crosby and Madison Manns competed in the Worthington Summer Classic over the weekend.
Crosby and Manns both took part in the heptathlon, which consisted of seven events over two days.
Crosby placed first in the 17-18 age division with 3,668 points, while Manns placed third in her first heptathlon event in the 15-16 age division with 2,238 points.
Crosby took first in the shot put (28-5 3/4), the long jump (15-9 3/4) and the javelin throw (84-11), was second in the 100 hurdles (16.6), the high jump (4-9) and the 200 (27.8) and third in the 800 (2:46.0).
Manns finished second in the javelin throw (61-0) and the 800 (3:12.6), while taking third in the 100 hurdles (19.3), the high jump (4-7), the shot put (19-8 1/4), the 200 (31.2) and the long jump (11-7 1/2).
