The 2022-23 Benjamin Logan FFA officer team recently participated in their first retreat, which concluded with axe throwing at Axe Ventura, 139 S. Main St., Bellefontaine. The 2022-23 Benjamin Logan FFA Officer Team includes: Kendra Kennedy, president; Owen O’Brien, vice president; Whitney Willoby, secretary; Emily Musser, treasurer; Madison Buettner, reporter; Addie Huffman, sentinel; Carson Lyden, student adviser, Liam Sweeney, assistant vice president; Lyillian Kelley, assistant secretary, Caitlin Blumenschein, assistant treasurer, Libby Siefring, assistant reporter. Some of the topics discussed at the retreat were Farm Science Review, fruit sales, National Convention, point system, and setting up a calendar and meetings. New goals were set for this upcoming year, including gaining a CDE banner, strengthening the chapter’s bond with alumni and having every FFA member partake in a minimum of two community service projects. The officer team developed their leadership skills through a session presented by Grace Barger, a past FFA president.
