Raider girls also win MR title

Benjamin Logan’s boys track and field team was once again the class of the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division at the league meet.
The Raiders claimed their seventh straight Mad River title by accumulating 95.5 points.
“It is really a humbling and satisfying experience to see how hard these kids have worked,” said Ben Logan head coach Kevin Butler. “From Day 1 we talked about getting number seven, and to see them go out and accomplish that is a very rewarding feeling.”
Northwestern took second in the MR standings with 46 points, Indian Lake was third with 43, Graham was fourth with 30, Urbana took fifth with 14 points and Greenon finished sixth with eight points.
Ben Logan’s girls brought home a trophy as well as they captured their second straight Mad River division championship.
The Raider girls tallied 71 points to top the Mad River standings. Greenon was second with 39 points, Northwestern finished third with 32 points, Graham was fourth with 26 points and Urbana and Indian Lake tied for fifth with 12 points.
