Bellefontaine’s swim team hosted its final home meet of the season Tuesday at the Hilliker YMCA and dominated the competition.
Also competing were Northland and Columbus Beechcroft. The Chiefs had 17 first-place finishes in the 22 varsity events.
Winning relays for the BHS girls were the 200 medley relay of Molly Schulz, Amy Fulmer, Emily Fulmer and Shelby Starkey (2:02.83), the 200 freestyle relay of Evelyn Belcher, Sydney Burton, Anya Smith and Bailey Smith (2:05.82) and the 400 freestyle relay of Amy Fulmer, Schulz, Starkey and Emily Fulmer (4:06.86).
Capturing individual wins for the Chieftain girls were Amy Fulmer in the 200 freestyle (2:04.97) and 100 backstroke (1:01.44), Emily Fulmer in the 50 freestyle (25.37) and 100 butterfly (1:06.93) and Madeline Dailey in the 500 freestyle (7:01.02)
