Bellefontaine’s girls bowling team fell to host Springfield 2,767-2,312 on Tuesday in a non-league match.
Kayla Watkins led the Chieftains with games of 191 and 226 for a 417 series, Brynn Noffsinger rolled games of 199 and 166 for a 365 series, Ashley Ehmer had a game of 179 and Lindsey Heminger added a game of 169.
In junior varsity action, Bellefontaine defeated Springfield 1,881-1,548. Akayla Ryan led the Chiefs with a game of 179 and a 318 series.
Bellefontaine travels to London on Thursday.
Eagles drop Tigers
West Liberty-Salem’s boys bowling team fell to visiting Madison Plains 2,305-2,255 on Tuesday during Ohio Heritage Conference action at Southwest Bowl.
Bobby Rollins led the Tigers with a 225 game, Andrew McCall rolled a 182 game, Isaac Riblet had a 162 game and Logan Tompkins recorded a 141 game.
WL-Salem competes in the King Classic at T-P Lanes on Monday.
