Bellefontaine’s girls and boys bowling teams picked up wins over visiting Indian Lake on Tuesday in a pair of Central Buckeye Conference matches at T-P Lanes.
The Lady Chieftains dropped the Lakers 2,388-1,980.
Abby Bailey rolled games of 170 and 186 for a 356 series to lead BHS. Kayla Watkins rolled games of 175 and 168 for a 343 series, Brynn Noffsinger recorded a 198 game and 336 series, Lindsey Heminger posted a 175 game and a 325 series, Ashley Ehmer added a 168 game and Na Lin chipped in a 160 game.
In junior varsity action, Bellefontaine beat Indian Lake 1,665-1,399. Candice Miihlbach had games of 175 and 141 for a 316 series to pace the Chiefs.
Bellefontaine’s boys defeated the Lakers 2,768-2,264.
Ian Salyer led the way for the Chieftains with games of 231 and 225 for a 456 series. Beau Salyer also had a strong match with games of 190 and 225 for a 415 series. Isaiah Henry posted games of 192 and 208 for a 400 series and Ryan Carman rolled a 191 game.
The Chieftains’ junior varsity boys team defeated the Lakers 2,126-1,681. Landon Gibbs led BHS with games of 212 and 161 for a 373 series. Drake Argabright rolled a 191 game and Quinn Allmon had a 156 game.
Bellefontaine hosts London on Tuesday.
Ben Logan girls edge Northwestern
Benjamin Logan’s girls bowling team held off visiting Northwestern 2,207-2,148 for a Central Buckeye Conference victory Tuesday at T-P Lanes.
Kaylee Nicholas led the Raiders with games of 160 and 225 for a 385 series, Erica Warne had a game of 179, Malori Barnes rolled a 161 game and Addie Buckenroth had a 160 game.
In junior varsity action, Ben Logan clipped Northwestern 1,537-1,510. Autumn Dyer had games of 127 and 132 for a 259 series for the Raiders. Avery Green added a 150 game and Kaylee Shafer had a 125 game.
Ben Logan hosts North Union on Wednesday.
Tigers hold off Trojans
West Liberty-Salem’s boys bowling team grabbed a 2,239-2,066 win over visiting Southeastern Tuesday in Ohio Heritage Conference action at Southwest Bowl in Urbana.
Nate Aldo sparked the Tigers with a 202 game, Andrew McCall rolled a 177 game, Isaac Riblet had a 152 game and Adam Watkins recorded a 148 game.
WL-Salem hosts Greeneview on Friday.
