The International Aerobatic Club Chapter 34 is celebrating International Aerobatics Day on Saturday, June 25, where many aviation enthusiasts and chapter members come together to highlight the year-round activities of aerobatic pilots.
IAC Chapter 34 in Bellefontaine will be celebrating with a barbeque cookout and a practice day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at the Bellefontaine Regional Airport (KEDJ), 3100 State Route 47, Bellefontaine.
General aviation pilots and observers are welcome to attend.
“You can expect to find IAC chapter members excited to talk about aviation and the sport of aviation aerobatics,” representatives said. “You can also find delicious barbeque food to enjoy with family and friends while learning more about aviation with your local IAC chapter.”
During the practice day, IAC members will be flying in an aerobatic practice box. Some pilots will practice their maneuvers to get ready to compete in competitions later this year, some will be flying for fun recreationally and others may earn an IAC
Achievement Award, which recognizes their aerobatic proficiency.
Multiple International Aerobatic Club chapters and members all over the United States will be celebrating this day with exciting events.
