Ann Knowlton Jerviss, 73, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday evening, October 2, 2021, at Ayden Healthcare of Belle Springs.
Ann was born in Logan County on November 8, 1947, to the late Virgil Knowlton and Alice (Neufarth) Knowlton Bowdle. She was also preceded in death by her sister Kay Abraham, and brother Jack R. Knowlton.
Ann is survived by her husband Wayne Jerviss, whom she married on May 4, 1991. She is also survived by children: Angie (Ted) Straub of Akron, Mark (Stacey) Perry of Powell, Teresa (Keith) Eagle of Columbus, Mindy Jerviss of Bellefontaine; her beloved mini-goldendoodle Chester; 8 grandchildren: Keegan Straub, Cameron Perry, Madison Eagle, Gabe Straub, Taryn Mullins, Cole Perry, Kendall Eagle, and Avery Mullins.
Ann was a member of Bellefontaine First United Methodist Church and the Kings Daughters group. She worked at Mary Rutan Hospital for over 30 years, and retired as Medical Staff Coordinator. She was a Girl Scout leader for Troop #248 at Southeastern School. In 1966, Ann was a founding member of “The Wednesday Night Social Club – that met on Thursdays.”
Friends may call on Thursday, October 7, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where Pastor Joe Ziraldo will officiate Ann’s funeral at noon. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
