The Bellefontaine High School marching band earned an “excellent” rating at the state contest Sunday at Welcome Stadium at the University of Dayton. ”It was a really great run of the show. Probably our best of the year,” BHS marching band director Jeremy Karg said today. The BHS show for this season is themed “A Letter to My Teenage Self” featuring the songs Story of My Life by One Direction, Teenage Dream by Katy Perry, and You Will be Found from the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. Other directors for the BHS marching band include Meagan Young, assistant director; Andrew Roberts, color guard adviser; Michelle Karg, color guard tech; Matthew Dawson, drumline instructor; Matt Stevens, drill designer; and Matt Hahn, music arranger.
