The American Red Cross and the National Football League are teaming up during January for National Blood Donor Month to urge individuals – especially those who have recovered from COVID-19 – to give blood and to help tackle the national convalescent plasma shortage.
Those donate blood or platelets during January will be automatically entered to win two tickets to next year’s Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles. In addition, those who donate through Jan. 20 will also be automatically entered to win the Big Game at Home package for an viewing experience safely at home, with a 65-inch television and a $500 gift card.
Upcoming American Red Cross blood drives in Logan County include:
• 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 8 — Benjamin Logan High School, 6609 E. State Route 47.
• Noon to 6 p.m. Jan. 11 — First United Methodist Church, 201 N. Main St., Bellefontaine,
• 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 13 — West Mansfield Conservation Club, 701 N. Main St.
• Noon to 6 p.m. Jan. 14 — Union Station, 613 Hamilton St., Bellefontaine.
