The Discovery Riders Inc. announced the organization is taking precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by postponing the annual fundraising event, A Night With The Columbus Symphony, previously scheduled for Saturday, Aug.
22 at the Linda Laine Hauck Memorial Equestrian Center in Bellefontaine.
In place of the in-person fundraiser, a digital version of the postponed annual event will take place Aug. 22. More information about the event will be revealed at a later date.
Representatives said given the overwhelming response and anticipated large turnout for the former in-person event, it is in the best interests of their donors, volunteers and families to postpone the activity. Refunds minus processing fees will be available for ticket holders.
“Discovery Riders Inc. sincerely appreciates the patience of all their donors, volunteers, and families during these unprecedented times,” organizers said in a release.
