Five people were arrested Friday morning after the Bellefontaine Police Department’s Special Response Team served a search warrant at 720 W. Columbus Ave.
The team converged on the residence at 8 a.m. and found several adults inside along with three children.
Nicky R. Lattimer, 33; Randy A. Joseph, 46; and Rayvin P. Houchin, 18, each was charged with possession of drugs, while Dominique A. Fudge, 27, and Phillip A.M. Bibler, 26, were taken into custody on warrants.
All five were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
An ongoing investigation into narcotics trafficking led to detectives with the Bellefontaine Police Department to obtain the search warrant.
Authorities believe they recovered methamphetamine in the search, along with marijuana, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Officers and detectives were assisted at the scene by the Bellefontaine Fire and EMS Department and Logan County Children’s Services.
The children, whose names and ages were not included in the press release, were placed with relatives.
Other charges are possible as result of the investigation.
