First responders work at the scene of a two-vehicle injury crash at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday at county roads 35 and 60 in Bloomfield Township. One of the drivers, Deanna Apgar, 63, of Lewistown, was flown by CareFlight helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton after being extricated from her sport utility vehicle by Lakeview firefighters. Another driver, William D. Blair, 23, of DeGraff, who was talking with first responders at the scene, was transported by Indian Lake EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for minor injuries. Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report Ms. Apgar was operating a northbound SUV on C.R. 35 and stopped at a stop sign. She then pulled into the path of an eastbound car on C.R. 60 operated by Mr. Blair. She was listed in undetermined condition this morning.
