The new Mrs. Hertenstein, a daughter of Dave and Linda Keller of Cleves, is an office manager at Banfield Pet Hospital in Cincinnati. Mr. Hertenstein, a son of Bob and Nora Hertenstein of Bellefontaine, is a lab supervisor at the University of Cincinnati. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Robert Topping An afternoon lakeside ceremony June 14 at Luce County Lake, Michigan, united Desirae Jean Furton and Anthony Robert Topping in marriage. The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with silver beading and carried a bouquet of calla lilies. Myra Failor served as maid of honor and Josh Kotsaris performed the duties of best man. Ms. Failor wore a black and ivory gown with silver beads and carried calla lilies. Daughter Aliya Furton and son Gavin Fout were the flower girl and ringbearer, respectively. Mr. Housholder is the owner of JC Pizza in Jackson Center. The new Mrs. Housholder is employed at Noah’s Ark Family Center in Bellefontaine. A reception will be hosted by their families from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at the Bellefontaine First Church of God. The couple is at home in Jackson Center.

Brian Hunt, friend of the bride and bridegroom, performed the ceremony. Music was provided by vocalist Claudia Eliaza and Kurt Hunter vocalist and guitarist. The bride wore a fitted ivory satin empire-waisted gown with a deep V bodice, beaded straps and an open back. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, purple lisianthus, statice, lavender and Queen Anne’s lace. Syndi Brunson served as the matron of honor, while Leah Thiffault, Kate Wingfield and Claudia Eliaza attended as bridesmaids. They wore brown summer dresses and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s. Troy Saylor performed the duties of best man, while Deric Linson, Bill Stanley and Rick Crumm were bridegroomsmen. A reception followed in the park. The new Mrs. Lowe, a daughter of Ronald and Sue Zimmerman of Zanesfield, works as a teacher’s assistant. Mr. Lowe, a son of Rick Lowe of Urbana and Nancy Jackson of West Liberty, is a mason. Following a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple is at home in rural West Liberty.
Mr. and Mrs. Jason Erb Miami University’s Kumler Chapel in Oxford was the setting for an Oct. 27 afternoon ceremony uniting Joy Christiansen and Jason Erb in marriage, with the Rev. William O’Donnell performing the nuptials. The bride wore an ivory strapless gown made of French A’loncon lace, with a champagne sash and carried a bouquet of fresh ivory roses and pale green hydrangeas. Julie McGrath served as maid of honor, with Sara Ott, Christine Shank, Dorothy Craig, and the bridegroom’s sisters Nicole and Heather Erb and Jennifer Braje attending as bridesmaids. They wore chocolate brown strapless tealength dresses and carried roses in shades of orange, red and fuchsia, with lime green and lavender accents. Josh Erb performed the duties of best man for his brother, while brother of the bride Donny Christiansen, Kris Hensley, Adam Close, Chris Fasick, Jason Farler and Rob Begley served as bridegroomsmen. Lydia and Luke Yamashiro served as flower girl and ringbearer, respectively. A dinner and dance reception followed the Nuptial Mass. The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in January. The new Mrs. Erb, daughter of Danyse and David Christiansen of Wapakoneta and granddaughter of Ramona Harris of Bellefontaine and the late Don Harris, is a 1997 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and a 2001 graduate of Miami University. In 2005, she earned a master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. She is an assistant professor of photography at Louisiana Tech University. Mr. Erb, son of Amy and Shawn Erb of Cincinnati and Cheryl and Robert Schulz of Ft. Mitchell, Ky., graduated in 1997 from Fairfield High School and in 2001 from Miami University, with a degree in speech communication. He is an account executive with C.H. Robinson in Shreveport, La. This summer, the couple plans to move to Youngstown where the bride begins teaching at Youngstown State University in the fall.

They wore cinnamon strapless gowns with rouching through the waistline and tied with a sash in the back. They carried bouquets of white alstromeria, leonidis roses, cream lisianthus and brown hypericum berries tied with off-white sheer ribbon. Mary Lynn Saul, niece of the bride, Kalyn Cronkleton and Lexi Cronkleton, nieces of the groom, served as flower girls. The hand-embroidered gown was embellished with Swarovski crystals and iridescent accents along the neckline and hemline which draped to a circular sweep train. Her floor-length veil of illusion was secured with a decorative porcelain and crystal comb. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas with crystal accents.
