The 2015 Ohio State football team has become a conundrum to fans and the media.
The Buckeyes returned a large nucleus of the team that stormed to the national championship last season, yet has not really looked liked the dominating squad many expected.
Ohio State has yet to lose a game and has the longest winning streak in the country, but its lack of putting complete games together has many scratching their heads.
Head coach Urban Meyer said this week that the lofty expectations surrounding this year’s team may be taking a toll.
“I do believe that there’s a little bit of tightness, heaviness of expectation, living up to other people’s expectation, living up to our own expectation,” said Meyer on Monday. “Most of the people in that locker room were together in Dallas and saw stuff falling from the ceiling, and then I feel it. But the good thing is I have experience with it.”
