Lofty expectations to be the norm at OSU

Matt BuckeyeInsider

For a majority of Ohio State football fans, anything less than a national championship will be a disappointment this season.

A 12-0 campaign last year, an offense full of playmakers and a relatively soft schedule have Buckeye diehards believing this will be the year Ohio State stops the Southeastern Conference’s stranglehold on college football.

Another source for the optimism is the man leading the Buckeyes. Urban Meyer knows a little something about winning national titles after capturing a pair of them at Florida.

The truth is the Buckeyes should be good. Really good. Braxton Miller is poised to put all of his enormous talents together this year. Four of five offensive line starters are back. The backfield is loaded with talented options, even without suspended Carlos Hyde for the first three games.
