Blue Jackets get down to roster limit with cuts

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned forward Kerby Rychel and defenseman Frederic St. Denis to their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts, and have placed forward Brian Gibbons on injured reserve and forward Jerry D'Amigo on waivers.
