Pioneers shoot past Ben Logan

Lima Temple Christian’s boys basketball team started and finished strong Tuesday against visiting Benjamin Logan to come away with a 75-57 non-league victory.

The Raiders drop to 5-4 on the season, while the Pioneers also move to 5-4.

Ben Logan fell behind early as LTC took a 17-11 lead after the first quarter. The Pioneers outscored the Raiders 19-16 in the second quarter to take a 36-27 advantage at halftime.

Temple Christian continued to pull away in the third quarter with a 19-15 effort. That gave the Pioneers a 55-42 cushion. LTC capped the game with a 20-15 run in the fourth quarter.

Grant Ricketts led the Raiders’ efforts with 17 points, Konner Caudill had 14 points and Austin VanBuskirk tallied 12 points.

Ben Logan travels to Upper Scioto Valley on Saturday for another non-league game.
