It was a successful night for local drivers Saturday as three different racing standouts won at Shady Bowl Speedway.
Buck Purtee of DeGraff won the 25 lap street stock main.
Quincy’s Josh Smith highlighted the action by picking up his second straight win in the 35- lap late model feature. DeGraff’s Buck Purtee claimed the top spot in the 25-lap street stock and DeGraff’s Jason Purtee won the Hanger 18 hobby stock feature.
Smith rallied late in the late model race past new drivers and veterans to notch his second consecutive victory. Fast qualifi- er Don Mahaffey Jr. was second, Jim Lewis Jr. was third, Mike Ward was fourth and Matt Jackson was fifth. Nic Burnside was the dash winner with Lewis taking the heat checker.
