Overcoming adversity is something Caleb Stevens has gotten used to during his sports career. But the Riverside senior is seeing his determination payoff as he recently signed to play football and run track at Ashland University, an NCAA Division II program.
Stevens, a standout on both the gridiron and the track, has been hampered by injures throughout his career. He still managed to reach a high level of success , and the Eagles took notice.
“They were the only ones who really gave me an opportunity,” said Stevens. “It will be an opportunity that lasts a lifetime. I get to double major and I feel that will give me more success for my future and my future family.”
