Riverside blitzes Commodores 48-21

Marissa Davis scored 21 points, grabbed eight rebounds and collected six steals to lead visiting Riverside to a 48-21 rout over Lima Perry in a Northwest Central Conference girls basketball game Thursday.

Shelby Giles contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Pirates. 

Riverside led 12-7 after one quarter and the Pirates held a 27-13 advantage at halftime.

It was all Riverside in the second half as it outscored the Commodores 21-8 over the final two quarters.

Kalin Kreglow pulled down 11 rebounds for the Pirates and Courtnie Smith chipped in five points.

Riverside limited the Commodores to just eight baskets on the night.

There was no junior varsity game.

Riverside is back in action Saturday at Southeastern.
