Riverside’s football team turned in a highly respectable season, including a state playoff berth. The Pirates were recently honored for their efforts by having seven players named to the Northwest Central Conference all-league team.
The Pirates had two players receive first-team accolades. Gaven Anderson was named to the first-team offense and Gavin Stallard was named to the firstteam defense.
Receiving second-team honors for Riverside were Andrew Racine on offense and Nick Hall on defense.
Ridgemont had one secondteam selection with Ethan Mouser on defense.
Earning honorable mention for the Pirates were Hunter Russell, Luke Roby and Mason Sacks, while the Gophers had Liam Kearns, L.J. Jackson and Tyrese Patterson.
