The Spartans defeated Mansfield Temple Christian 4-1 in the semifinals on Friday and then dropped Mars Hill Academy of Mason 5-1 in the state finals.

It is the second consecutive state championship for the Spartans, who also recorded the first undefeated season in school history at 19-0. The senior class finishes with a career record of 61-4-1, were state runners-up in 2015, followed by state titles in 2016 and 2017.
