Friday night’s matchup between Indian Lake and Bellefontaine will not count toward the league standings, but that does not diminish what is on the line for both teams.
After two straight losses to the Lakers, the Chiefs are poised to get some revenge when they host their Logan County rival at 7 p.m. Friday at AcuSport Stadium.
For Indian Lake, bragging rights as well as an opportunity to bolster its playoff chances are at stake.
Currently in first place in the CBC Kenton Trail division, Bellefontaine is 7-1 overall and 3-0 in division play.
The Lakers are 6-2 overall and lead the Mad River division with a 3-0 record (Ben Logan is a half game back at 2-0).
Both coaches hope Friday’s game brings out the best in their respective teams.
