Chiefs can’t silence Braves in CBC clash

Springfield Shawnee battled past host Bellefontaine 25-11, 17-25, 25-9, 25-14 in Central Buckeye Conference volleyball action Tuesday.

The Chieftains fall to 1-10 overall and 1-2 in the CBC. The Braves bump their record to 2-5, 1-2.

Laney Yoder paced BHS with 12 digs, one kill and one block, Hannah Rader had eight digs, four kills, one ace and two blocks, Avery Moore had three digs and two kills, Madi Dailey posted eight digs and seven assists, Anya Nunez piled up 15 digs, Jade Schottelkotte had four digs and two kills and Chalony Tolliver recorded three kills, three blocks and three digs.
