The Raiders, who beat Fairlawn 5-1 in the semifinal round Friday, fall to 1-1 on the season.

Ben Logan had no answer for the Wildcats in the first half. Neither team scored in the second half.

“Congratulations to a very good Kenton team,” said Ben Logan head coach Jamie Hughes. “They just came out and really pressured us hard right from the opening kick and we didn’t handle it very well. I’d probably even say that they played about as well as they could that first half and we just didn’t have an answer.

“We’ll be OK. I still love this team and their potential, so we’ll learn from this, grow and I’m excited about the rest of the season.”

George Kern scored both goals for the Raiders.

In Friday’s game, Kern and Dylan Welch each scored two goals for Ben Logan and Rylan Studebaker added one goal.
