Benjamin Logan’s boys golf team picked up a Central Buckeye Conference victory over host Indian Lake 158-204 on Monday at Cherokee Hills Golf Club.
“This was our lowest team score in my five years with the program,” said BL head coach Chris Conley. “I know there are schools who shoot much lower, but I was really proud of the progress we’ve made in a short time.”
The Raiders’ Will Kenoyer fired a low of 36 to take medalist honors. Garrett Allen shot a personal-best of 38, Bryce Loomis carded a 40, Ethan Ricketts had a 44, Gavin Clay shot a 52 and Carter Stewart added a 66.
For the Lakers, George Lones led with a 48, Matthew Risner shot a 50, Drew Fatone had a 52 and Caleb Taylor rounded out the team with a 54.
In junior varsity action, the Raiders’ Carston McCain had a 62, Noah Comer shot a 65 and Hunter Kennaw posted a 72.
