Gophers jump on Riverside for 10-0 win

Errors plagued Riverside’s baseball team Wednesday as visiting Ridgemont took advantage for a 10-0 win in six innings in a Northwest Central Conference opener.

The Gophers are now 2-0 overall and start league play at 1-0. The Pirates drop to 1-3, 0-1.

Ridgemont jumped out to a 5-0 lead after just three innings of play . The Gophers added three runs in the top of the fifth inning and two more runs in the top of the sixth inning.
