Indian Lake’s boys basketball team got off to a quick start to dispatch visiting Riverside 63-47 in a non-league matchup Saturday night.

The Lakers move above the .500 mark at 5-4, while the Pirates drop to 2-6 on the season.
“After a two-week break, I saw a lot of signs of improvement,” said RHS head coach Dean Sanford. “We made some changes and saw some good results. We are going to continue to work hard and grow as a team.”
Indian Lake got its offense going early with a 21-10 run in the first quarter. The Lakers outscored the Pirates 16-14 in the second quarter for a 37-24 advantage at halftime.
