The Bellefontaine III Exchange Club baseball team won this year’s Logan County Pony League tournament. Exchange Club beat Washington I twice in the finals to win the championship. Local resident makes putt for $5,000

Bellefontaine resident Mark Cooper sank a putt to win $5,000 during the recent Jon Weeks Memorial Golf Outing at Liberty Hills Golf Club.

Hodge competes in Grand Prix Feminin event

Zanesfield Petanque Club member Shannon Hodge played in the Grand Prix Feminin in July. This was part of the 55th Mondial La Marseillaise a Petanque, the largest petanque event in the world.

Indian Lake wins All-Star tournament

The Indian Lake 10-and-under travel baseball team recently won the Eagles All-Star tournament in Sunbury for their four consecutive tournament win. Indian Lake defeated Centerburg 10-0 and Big Walnut Red 17-5 in pool play. The Lakers then defeated Big Walnut Gold 7-3 in the semifinals and North Union 1-0 in the championship game. In the championship game, Thomas Elliott drove in the game-winning run.
