Bechtel named NCAC field athlete of the week

BECHTEL

Former Bellefontaine standout Sarah Bechtel, now a senior on the Ohio Wesleyan University track and field team, was named Monday as the North Coast Athletic Conference field event performer of the week.

Bechtel won the pole vault competition Saturday at the indoor All-Ohio Division III Championship Meet. Bechtel vaulted 11-3 3/4 to win her title. She helped her OWU women’s squad finish third in the team standings.
