Anna drops Pirates

Anna recorded a 13-0 win in five innings over host Riverside on Tuesday in a non-league baseball matchup.

The Pirates fall to 11-8 on the season.

“We are not hitting and our fielding is hurting us tremendously,” said RHS head coach Jason McLain. “We are giving teams five to six outs an inning. We are a better team than what we are showing, but we are not playing to our abilities.”

Aaron Moffit had the Pirates’ lone hit.

Riverside travels to Bethel on Saturday for a doubleheader.
