The win moves the Lakers to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the CBC, while the Chieftains drop to 0-4-1, 0-1.
“The guys are really excited about opening up CBC play with a win over our rival in front of our awesome home fans,” said Indian Lake head coach Jon Shoffstall. “The guys got off to a quick start and never looked back. We had some players step up and make some big plays and that was the difference in the game.”
“Coach Shoffstall has really got his program clicking right now,” said BHS head coach Steve Henry. “They play with more skill than any other Indian Lake team in years past.
“This has been a tough start to the year. We will continue to make adjustments to try and figure out the winning recipe.”
