Justin Grant outlasted a strong field over 30 laps to win the non-wing sprints feature Saturday in the sixth annual Jack Hewitt Classic at Waynesfield Raceway Park.
Hewitt is a Hall of Fame sprint car driver and a former Indianapolis 500 starter. He was honored Saturday for his contributions to the sport of racing.
Grant won his non-wing sprints heat and went on to take the checkered flag in the feature. He was followed in the top five by Matt Westfall, Scotty Weir, Steve Irwin and Dustin Ingle.
Logan Jarret, Weir and Irwin added heat wins and Mike Dunlap took the dash win. Kyle Simon won the first B main and Beau Stewart took the second B main. Ingle received the hard charger award.
