Washington wins all-star title

The Washington Ball Association T-ball team won the championship in the Logan County All Stars Tournament. The first-place team consisted of, from the left, front row: Tristan Taylor, Jaxon Snipes, Titus Kelly, Keaton Snipes and Gavin Henry; middle row: Gavin Edwards, Jada Shroyer, Jocelyn Cummins, Sebastian Zook, Brady Golliday and Gavin Spring; and back row: coaches Larry Shroyer, Jeremy Snipes, Brent Golliday, Steve Cummins and John Shroyer.

Washington II takes second in tourney

The Jac & Do’s Washington II T-Ball team recently placed second in the Logan County postseason tournament. The squad finished the season with a 13-1 record after going unbeaten in the preseason and regular season.

The players on the team consisted of Anara Shroyer, Titus Kelly, Jaxon Snipes, Myah Everhart, Landon Stinemetz, Tristan Taylor, Morgan Howell, Riley Shaner, Jada Shroyer, Gavin Edwards, Wyatt Predmore, Keaton Snipes and Hailey Neeley. The coaches were Jeremy Snipes, Rodney Edwards, Chad Taylor and John Shroyer. Also assisting the coaches were Larry Shroyer, Stacey Everhart and and Cody Kelly.


All-Around Awards tops Exchange Club

All-Around Awards defeated Bellefontaine Exchange Club 7-3 on Tuesday in Logan County Pony League action.

Brandon Puckett earned the win on the mound and recorded 12 strikeouts for All-Around Awards.
