The Bellefontaine Parks and Recreation track team held its Hershey State Qualifying meet on June 12 at Benjamin Logan High School and saw several local youth athletes advance.

A total of 31 different youth track participants qualified to the Hershey state meet, which is Saturday, June 28, at Reynoldsburg High School.
State qualifiers in the girls 9-10 age group are Emma Middaugh, Parker Penhorwood, Kianna Kenner, Mallory Kuhn, Montana Buck and the relay of Kuhn, Middaugh, Buck and Joslyn Robinson.
The boys 9-10 age group saw qualifiers with Jonas Hoffman, Jaxen Neff-Strickland, Harper Scott, Max Varner and the relay of Scott, Jaxen Neff-Strickland, Kadren Neff-Strickland and Marco Martinez.
In the girls 11-12 age group, state qualifiers included Lauren Carter, Chloe Reynolds, Makayla Hayes and the relay of Hayes, Carter, Charley Carpenter and Gabby Stolly.
