Riverside and Ridgemont battled a tough field at the Northwest Central Conference meet Saturday in Waynesfield and came away with solid finishes.

Waynesfield-Goshen won the NWCC boys title with 180 points, Upper Scioto Valley was runner-up with 116 points and Lehman Catholic took third with 106 points.
Lima Perry finished in fourth with 76 points, Ridgemont was fifth with 33 points, Riverside was sixth with 12 points and Lima Temple Christian was seventh with seven points.
The host Tigers also won the girls NWCC championship with 152 points. The Rams were a distant second with 82 points, Lima Perry edged Ridgemont 65-63 for third, while Lehman Catholic slipped past Riverside 52-50 for fifth. Temple Christian finished seventh with 40 points.
Riverside’s girls were fueled by Ella Jackson, who won an individual NWCC championship in the 1,600 (6:01.04) and was second in the 3,200 (13:08.09).
