Tigers roll past Rams to set up showdown with Jets for OHC baseball championship

West Liberty-Salem’s baseball team will play for the outright Ohio Heritage Conference crown after securing an 11-1 six-inning win over host Greeneview on Monday.

The Tigers are 16-5 overall and 12-1 in OHC play. They host Northeastern, also 12-1, for the OHC title Thursday.

WL-Salem got off to a good start Monday with two runs in the first inning. The Tigers added five runs in the third inning for a 7-0 lead.

Greeneview scored a run in the fifth to make the score 7-1. WL-Salem then scored four runs in the sixth inning to put the game away.
