Raiders storm back to jolt Arrows 15-5 in five innings

Benjamin Logan’s softball team fell behind early against visiting Tecumseh, but rallied back to zap the Arrows 15-5 in five innings on Thursday in a Central Buckeye Conference meeting.

“This team has made a few comebacks this year, but we really needed this one tonight to have a realistic chance for a league title,” said Ben Logan head coach John Stahl. “We were flat in the first few innings and went down 5-0, but were able to fight through three or four errors and battle back for a win.”

Sophomore Kate Campbell came in to pitch in the second inning and slowed down Tecumseh’s offensive attack. She went on to record seven strikeouts in getting the win.

“Kate did a great job coming on in relief in the second inning and shutting Tecumseh down the rest of the game,” said Stahl.
