BHS grinds out 3-1 win over Ben Logan

Facing one of the top pitchers in the Central Buckeye Conference, Bellefontaine’s baseball team found a way to scratch up enough offense to knock off county rival Benjamin Logan on Thursday.

Bellefontaine managed just four hits off Raiders’ standout left-hander Zane Collins, but they made the most of them for a 3-1 victory at Blue Jacket Park.

“Collins is a great pitcher and my hat goes off to him,” said Bellefontaine head coach Art Caudill. “We just kept telling our guys to stick to the game plan. We were able to create a couple of scoring opportunities and then Drake Roebuck came up with a big hit late in the game to give us a two-run cushion.”
