Senior Rachel Loffing and freshman Camille Whitcraft combined for a no-hitter Tuesday to lead West Liberty-Salem’s softball team past visiting Cedarville 25-0 in an Ohio Heritage Conference victory.

The Tigers are now 7-7 overall and 5-2 in the OHC.

 Loffing tossed four commanding innings with seven strikeouts and one walk to earn the win. Whitcraft pitched one spotless inning with a strikeout to close out the game.

The Tigers raced out to an 11-0 lead after the second inning. They piled up nine runs in the third inning for a 20-0 advantage and added five more runs in the fourth inning.

Loffing also led the offense, going 4-4 with a home run, a double and five RBI, while Kylie Gilroy went 3-5 with a home run and three RBI.
