Hulbert threw a complete-game shutout to lead the visiting Lakers to a 2-0 win over the Raiders on Friday in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game.

Indian Lake, which lost to the Raiders 10-5 on Wednesday, improves to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in the CBC. Ben Logan falls to 6-3, 3-2.

The Lakers scored a run in the second inning and another in the fourth.

That was plenty of offense for Hulbert, who pitched around six hits and five walks. He struck out six.

Alex Jacobs went 3-4 with an RBI to lead Indian Lake’s offense. Nate Kaffenbarger had two hits and Jacob Shoe chipped in with a hit and an RBI.

Indian Lake plays at St. Marys today, while the Raiders play at Graham on Monday.
