Benjamin Logan’s Darrian Rockhold was rock solid in the pitching circle on Friday.
Rockhold fired a one-hitter as visiting Benjamin Logan cruised to a 10-0 five-inning win over Indian Lake in a Central Buckeye Conference softball game.
Ben Logan is now 7-4 overall and 3-3 in the CBC. The Lakers fall to 4-4, 2-3.
Rockhold struck out one and did not walk a batter.
Ben Logan’s hitters did their job as well, finishing with 13 hits.
The Raiders jumped out to a 7-0 lead through two innings. They added a run in the fourth and two in the fifth.
Kate Campbell went 2-3 with a double, home run and two RBI to propel the Ben Logan offense.
Also for the Raiders, Kenzie Heater went 3-3 with a double and two RBI, Tahlsa Bowshier went 2-4 and Rockhold added two hits.
Hannah Dye had the lone hit for the Lakers.
Both teams are back in action today. Ben Logan hosts Fairbanks and Indian Lake is at home against Lima Shawnee.
